Core Technologies & Platforms

  • Complex Multi-step Synthesis

Our technical team boasts a diverse range of chemistry expertise, spanning asymmetric synthesis, organometallic chemistry, heterogeneous/homogeneous catalysis, heterocyclic synthesis, and enzymatic reactions. With the growing complexity of target molecules, adept material and time management skills are crucial to efficiently navigate lengthy sequences of multi-step synthesis within tight deadlines. Leveraging our experience, our chemists have adeptly synthesized compounds in multi-kilo quantities across more than 20 linear steps. We are poised to tackle your chemistry challenges and deliver effective solutions promptly.

  • Chlorination and Fluorination

Roughly 30% of agrochemicals and 20% of pharmaceutical drugs on the market contain fluorine, a characteristic known to induce significant modifications in their chemical, physical, and biological attributes. Direct chlorination and fluorination emerge as the most economically viable and effective approaches for synthesizing fluorine-containing compounds. However, executing these processes demands specialized equipment and expertise, notably when handling chlorine and HF. Our proficiency spans laboratory, pilot-scale, and large-scale manufacturing, enabling us to utilize these reagents safely and effectively. Rely on us as your premier partner for all direct chlorination and fluorination requirements.

  • Green Processes/Products

Ensuring sustainability through green processes is a fundamental aspect of our corporate responsibility. We are committed to researching, developing, and implementing technologies and practices that minimize our environmental footprint. Embracing green initiatives drives us to explore innovative approaches and technologies for improved operations. Over the years, we have developed a comprehensive suite of green process solutions, including:

    • Adoption of continuous flow processes where feasible.
    • Integration of biocatalytic reactions as alternatives to conventional chemical methods.
    • Preference for bio-based raw materials and solvents over petrochemical alternatives.
    • Investment in and implementation of process automation technologies.
    • Emphasis on recycling practices wherever feasible.

These initiatives underscore our dedication to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship.

  • Single MW PEG Synthesis and PEGylation

Affinity is a global leader in providing the most comprehensive series of functionalized single molecular weight polyethylene glycol (PEG) products. We specialize in delivering cost-effective PEG linker products through efficient synthesis and scalable production methods, while prioritizing environmental sustainability by minimizing our carbon footprint through innovative technologies.

Our expertise in PEGylation of drugs and biomolecules offers significant advantages for enhancing drug efficacy and bioactivity. With our proprietary technology, we are poised to lead the field of PEGylation, driving advancements in pharmaceutical and biotechnological applications.
